 His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo has announced that all national flags should fly at half-mast. He has also declared a 7 day State mourning. He made this statement in a press release in relation to the passing on of the First President of the fourth republic. The President has also directed that all campaign be suspended for the next 7 days starting from Friday, the 13th of November to Friday, the 20th of November. His Excellency Nana Akuffo Addo, on behalf of the people of Ghana, extended heartfelt condolence to his family, his wife and the entire populates of Ghana. The former President reportedly passed on to glory at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
