According to a report by Ghanaweekend.com, he was arrested for providing a fake COVID-19 vaccination card. The music superstar arrived in Accra to support Ghana’s Stonebwoy during his Bhim Nation concert last week. Beenie Man allegedly tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival in Ghana on 19th December, 2021, and was quarantined. However, he was seen going round for interviews ahead of Stonebwoy’s Bhim Concert which was held on 21st December 2021 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre. Ghanaian rapper Medikal has been granted a GHc100,000 bail by the court with one surety. He was arraigned before the court for five days at the Ankaful Maximum Prison in the Central region. Well, a recent update on his case suggests that he has been granted a bail of GHc100,000 with one surety. According to the brief facts from the Ghana Police Service, Medikal was arrested because he posted a video of himself holding a Ruger 9mm handgun on Snapchat, a popular social media platform. He posted the video on September 2021 while in his car without any reasonable excuse. Police said the video went viral on September 26 and was published by Adom FM online. About a month later, on October 21, Police acting on intelligence arrested Medikal and handed him to the Regional Criminal Investigations Department for investigation

He made this statement in a press release in relation to the passing on of the First President of the fourth republic. The President has also directed that all campaign be suspended for the next 7 days starting from Friday, the 13th of November to Friday, the 20th of November. The former President reportedly passed on to glory at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
